  • 4ozs Caster Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 8ozs Self Raising Flour (sifted)
  • 3 Large Tablespoons of Marmalade (any type)

Preparation

Step 1

Pre heat oven to Gas 5.

Step 2

Cream sugar and butter.

Step 3

Beat in the eggs a little at a time.

Step 4

Beat in the marmalade.

Step 5

Fold in the self raising flour.

Step 6

Line an 8" cake tin with parchment and fill with mixture.

Step 7

Place in the centre of the oven for 50mins to 1 hour or until a skewer comes out clean.

When cold cover with glace icing.
