  • 1 pack short crust pastry
  • 1 jar mincemeat
  • cook at 200C for approx. 20-30 minutes

Preparation

Step 1

Roll out pastry onto a floured surface

Step 2

Cut out 12 large & 12 small rounds of pastry

Step 3

Put the large pastry rounds into a deep muffin tin

Step 4

Add mincemeat to each one - allow room for the "lid"

Step 5

Add "lid" to each mince pie

Step 6

Brush with milk

Step 7

Prick with a knife

Step 8

Cook in oven for 20-30 minutes until golden brown

If mincemeat bubbles out then pies were over filled
