  • tins of tuna fish (or salmon if you prefer)
  • potatoes
  • tins of beans (such as black eye or butter)
  • lemon juice
  • seasoning

Preparation

Step 1

Boil potatoes. Whilst these are boiling, drain the cans of tuna and beans and place in bowl with a little lemon juice and seasoning.

Step 2

Once the potatoes have cooked, drain and mash with a little butter and seasoning.

Step 3

mix the potatoes with the tuna and beans and shape into patties. there is no need to coat in breadcrumbs, though this is an option if you wish.

Step 4

fry in a little oil until golden and serve with vegetables or salad.
