  • 1 lb Cod or Tilapia fish fillet
  • 1 Tbs Canola oil
  • 1 Tbs butter
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 4 corn tortillas
  • 1 1/2 cups iceberg lettuce
  • 1 large lime
  • 1 cup fresh salsa " pico de gallo"
  • 4 tsp Mexican crema
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • salt
  • pepper and garlic powder

Step 1

Season the fish with salt, pepper and garlic powder, Heat on medium high a skillet add oil and butter. Cook the fish 3-4 minutes and turn it over for 4 more minutes. Chopped and wash iceberg lettuce, when is dry, add 1/2 of lime juice, salt, pepper and olive oil. Warm tortillas on a skillet, divide the fishe to make four tacos, add avocado slices, crema and sals. Serve with brown rice and lime on the side. Enjoy

Do not over cook the fish or it will be dry. Cast iron skillet is the best to add some iron on your diet.
