Ingredients
- 450g of pork mince
- 1 small onion
- 1 handful of fresh sage
- 1 large apple
- 25g fine breadcrumbs
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tbsp caster sugar
- olive oil

Preparation
Step 1
Peel and core your apple, then chop in to small chunks
Place in a pan of boiling water with a large spoonful of caster sugar and a pinch of nutmeg
Boil until the apple is soft
Put through a sieve to get rid of excess water and leave to cool
Combine the mince, finely chopped onion, breadcrumbs and nutmeg with the cooled apple
Mould into 4 burgers - or more if you want smaller
Place in the fridge for 20-30 minutes to chill
Baste with olive oil either side and cook on the BBQ for 10 minutes, turning to ensure an even cook
Serve with a yoghurt dip
