Cajun sausagerolls

Ingredients
- For the dough:
- 250 g flour for sandwiches
- 250 g flour for white bread
- 150 ml water (lukewarm)
- 150 ml milk
- 1 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 ½ tsp cajunspices
- 1 pinch of cayennepepper
- 10 g fresh yeast
- 1 egg
- For the filling:
- ½ kg mince (mixed beef/pork)
- 1 egg
- breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp cajunspices
- pinch of cayennepepper

Preparation
Step 1
Mix the flours and the dried herbs and spices.
Step 2
Create a hole in the middle of the flour and add the yeast dissolved in the water.
Step 3
Slowly mix the water, milk and tomato puree through the flour, and knead well.
Step 4
Leave to rise.
Step 5
While the dough is rising, mix the mince with the egg, breadcrumbs and spices.
Step 6
Roll out the dough until it is approximately 1cm thick and cut it into pieces of 3cm.
Step 7
Turn the mince into little rolls the size of the dough pieces, then roll the dough around the mince until covered.
Step 8
Leave to rise again and in the mean time preheat the oven to 220°C
Step 9
Brush the rolls with some beaten egg.
Step 10
Bake in the oven for approximately 30mins.
