Asparagus wrapped in prosciutto

Preheat the oven or grill to a medium heat. Cut the end off of each asparagus stalk and discard.
Pull the prosciutto into thin strips, about an inch wide but it doesn't really matter.
Wrap each asparagus stalk in the prosciutto, leaving the tips clear. Place on a baking tray, grind a little pepper over the top and cook in the oven or grill until the asparagus is tender (it depends entirely on how big your asparagus stalks are, but it won't take very long).
As soon as they are tender they are ready to eat!! Great served with a hollandaise sauce or some homemade garlic mayo, and a nice glass of cold white wine!!
