Ingredients

  • 8 large raw tiger prawns
  • 2 slices of fresh ginger, shredded
  • 1 clove of garlic, shredded
  • 2 spring onions, green parts only, shredded
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • For the sauce:
  • 1 clove of garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 spring onions, white parts only, shredded
  • 1 small green chilli, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • Packet of rocket for garnish

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare all of the ingredients, shred, grate, crush and chop.
Mix all of the sauce ingredients together.
Heat the butter in a frying pan, add the garlic and spring onions, cook gently without colouring.
Add the tiger prawns and fry until pink.
Divide the sauce between two shot glasses, arrange on plates with the rocket and serve prawns on top.
