A delicious apple crumble recipe for those hankering for something sweet and simple.

  • 1 pound of apples
  • 6oz sugar
  • 8oz flour
  • 4oz marg
  • 3oz sugar


Cooking time 40mins


Step 1

For the filling
Cut and peel apples, put in pan with enough water to cover the bottom of the pan. Cook the apples until half cooked.

Step 2

For the topping
Put the flour and margarine into a bowl and mix with fingertips. Then add the sugar and continue to crumble with fingertips.

Step 3

To finish
Place sliced apples into a large dish and then press on the crumble top firmly.

Step 4

Cook at approximately 170°C/Fan oven for about 40 minutes, until top is crisp and brown, and the apple is bubbling.
