Sausage Burger with Cheese Sauce and Mushy Peas

Ingredients
- Burger:
- 3 sausages (skinless)
- 1 egg
- 25g breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Cheese Sauce:
- 150ml double cream
- 150g grated cheddar
- Salt and pepper
- Peas:
- 250g peas
- 50g cheddar
- 50ml double cream
- Salt and pepper
- Ciabatta (toasted)

Preparation
Step 1
Burgers:
Put sausage meat, egg and breadcrumbs into blender and blend until it forms a rough paste. Season with salt and pepper, divide and shape into patties.
Step 2
Rub patties with oil, season again and fry for 5-6 minutes each side until completely cooked.
Step 3
Cheese sauce: Heat cream in pan until boiling. Add cheese and stir well. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Peas: Put all ingredients into a bowl, season then mash to rough paste.
Step 5
Place burgers onto ciabatta, spoon over cheese sauce and serve with peas on the side.
