  • Stewed fruit base
  • 1/2 cup (125g) butter
  • 1 cup (125g) sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup (125g) flour
  • 2 t baking powder

Preparation

Step 1

Put hot stewed fruit into oven dish.

Step 2

Cream butter and sugar, mix together rest of sponge ingredients. Place on top.

Step 3

Bake for 45 mins at 190 C.

Variation: 1 cup (125g) flour, 4 tbsp (50g) butter, 6 tbsp sugar for crumble
