Ingredients
- 225g plain flour
- 1 tbsp vegetable fat / lard
- 120ml water
- pinch of salt

Preparation
Step 1
Sieve flour into a bowl and add the pinch of salt
Rub in lard / vegetable fat until it forms breadcrumbs
Gradually add the water until it forms a dough
Knead gently for about 5 minutes
Form a ball, cover and leave it to rest for ten to fifteen minutes
Divide the mix up into little balls - about 12 and roll out until thin
Heat a heavy based frying pan over a medium heat and cook the tortillas one at a time for about 2 minutes each side until golden brown
Keep them warm in the oven
cover in foil when keeping warm so they don't dry out
