Ingredients

  • 100g/3.5oz Self Raising Flour
  • 100g/3.5oz Caster Sugar
  • 100g/3.5oz Margarine
  • 85g/3oz Dessicated Coconut
  • 85g/3oz Oats
  • 25g/1oz Golden Syrup

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Pour the oats, coconut, flour and sugar into a mixing bowl.

Step 2

Melt the butter in a pan and then stir in the golden syrup.

Step 3

Make a well in the middle of the ingredients in the bowl and pour in the butter and golden syrup mixture. Stir gently to mix it all together.

Step 4

Grease a baking tray, pour in the mixture and spread the mixture equally.

Step 5

Bake until golden brown and portion whilst still warm.
