Ingredients

  • 200 grams of dessicated coconut
  • 50 grams of butter
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2-3 teaspoons of potato flour

Preparation

Step 1

Melt the butter in a saucepan.

Step 2

Once the butter is melted, add the sugar to the saucepan. Then add the coconut. If you feel that the mixture is too dry, then add 1-2 tablespoons of milk.

Step 3

Whip the egg whites until they form stiff peaks. Then add the potato flour and mix the two together very gently.

Step 4

Add the butter-sugar-coconut mixture into the whipped egg whites and fold the mixture gently.

Step 5

Line the baking tray with a baking sheet.

Step 6

Form little, round balls and place them onto the baking sheet.

Step 7

Bake in an oven at 180 C for 15-20 minutes.
