  • 1 1/2 brown candy pieces
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 4 eggs
  • 45g butter
  • 150ml condensed milk
  • 1 cup self-raising flour
  • 2tp bicarbonate
  • 1/4 tp baking powder

Preparation

Step 1

Melt brown sugar pieces in a pan over low fire.

Step 2

Add water and stir until everything is well combined.

Step 3

Beat the eggs until bubbly. This may take more than 10min.

Step 4

Add butter and mix. Then, add condensed milk and mix again.

Step 5

Sieve self-raising flour, bicarbonate soda and baking powder into mixture. Mix well.

Step 6

Cover with wraps and let it stand for 30 min.

Step 7

Add sugar water into batter and stir well.

Step 8

Cover and let it stand again for 1 hour.

Step 9

Preheat oven to 200oC.

Step 10

Grease the pan wit butter and bake for 30-40min.
