Stew & Dumplings

Ingredients
- For Stew:
- 750g Any Meat (steak, chicken, lamb)
- 4 Carrots
- 2 Leeks
- 1 onion
- 2 Cloves of Garlic
- 2 Parsnips
- 1 Small Swede
- 4-5 Potatoes (peeled and cut into quarters)
- 3 Pints of Water
- Gravy Granules
- For Dumplings: (makes 6 large or 8 medium)
- 8oz Flour (any)
- 4oz Atora Suet
- Pinch of Salt & Pepper
- Drop of Water for texture

Preparation
Step 1
Cut all veg into large chunks and add to the stew pan.
Step 2
Add the meat and water and cook on a medium heat (gas number 2-3) for 20 minutes until meat is soft.
Step 3
Stir in the gravy granules until desired thickness.
Step 4
Place the dumpling mixture in a bowl and blend together. Separate in to 6-8 pieces and roll into balls.
Step 5
Add the dumplings to the stew pan and cook for a further 20-25 minutes until cooked.
Large deep saucepan required
