- 4 Pickled Beetroots
- Horseradish Sauce

Cook beets and peel. Slice and place in hot, sterilized jars
- 1 C white sugar
- 1 C white vinegar
- 1 C water (if solution is too tart, add more water)
- 2 or 3 cloves
- 1 tsp pickling salt per quart
