  • 60g self-raising flour

These fantastic brownies are packed with delicious chocolate

  • 250g unsalted butter, cut into cubes
  • 250g good quality dark chocolate, broken into pieces
  • 3 medium eggs
  • 250g caster sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 150g self-raising flour
  • 250g beetroot, boiled until tender, cooled, peeled and either finely chopped or blended smooth (I blended mine into a thick puree)
  • 100g chocolate, of any colour, for the decoration
