Ingredients

  • Meat Juices (all juices from the roast animal you are cooking)
  • 100g Plain Flour
  • 250ml Red Wine
  • Chicken Stock Cube
  • Vegetable Stock (water from cooking carrots or parsnips)
  • 1 Teaspoon Marmite
  • 1 Teaspoon HP Sauce
  • Dash Balsamic Vinegar
  • Gravy Browning

Preparation

Step 1

Combine Meat Juices and Flour in a saucepan on a low heat. Whisk well.

Step 2

Add wine slowly whilst whisking.

Step 3

Add vegetable stock (until desired consistency) and continue whisking.

Step 4

Add remaining ingredients and continue to stir occasionally.
