Rice and Apples


Another recipe from my Polish friend! White rice with cinnamon apples and whipped cream.

  • 1 Cup white rice
  • 1 Apple
  • 1 Small pot of whipping cream
  • Cinnamon
  • White Sugar

Step 1

Cook the rice according to packet instructions.

Step 2

Meanwhile, peel off the apple skin, and grate into a bowl. Sprinkle in sugar and cinnamon to taste and stir.
Whip the cream so it peaks.

Step 3

Drain the rice, and stir sugar through whilst in the pan. Serve on a plate.

Step 4

Sprinkle the grated apple over the rice, and top with the whipped cream. Garnish with a little cinnamon on top.


To avoid the apple going brown, add a little lemon juice to the apple.
Can also be served as a dessert.
