Ingredients

  • 1 small piece ginger crushed
  • 2 onions finely sliced
  • 6 cardamom pods
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 1tbs salt
  • 1 tsp whole zeera crushed
  • 1 tsp dhanhiya seeds crushed
  • 1 tbs mixed masala
  • 1/2 tbs danhiya powder
  • 1/4 tbs turmeric
  • 1/4 tbs zeera
  • Lamb mince
  • Ready made samosa pastry

Preparation

Step 1

n a heat pot add 1 tbs oil 6-8 garlic cloves
1 small peice ginger crushed
2onions finely sliced
6 cardamom pods
2 cinnamon sticks
4 bay leaves
1tbs salt
1 tsp whole zeera crushed
1 tsp dhanhiya seeds crushed
Stir for 3-4 min

Step 2

Add keema
Cook 10-15 min

Step 3

Add
1 tbsmixed masala
1/2 tbs danhiya powder
1/4 tbs turmeric
1/4 tbs zeera
Cook for 5 min
Remove cardamom pod
Cinnamon sticks and
Bay leaves

Step 4

Take a packet of ready made samosa pastry
Cut into even portions
Peel sheets in 2s( as I find this stops oil from penetrating)
Make into triangular pockets
Fill with keema and seal with a beaten egg( use basting brush)or some people use a watery flour paste

Step 5

Heat oil in pan and shallow fry a few
1-30 seconds both sides or until golden in colour
