Sausage Pasta

A spicy sausage pasta my mum would cook me as a quick meal between school and whatever extra-curricular activity I was hurrying off to that evening. I now cook it between work and whatever extra-curricular activity I'm hurrying off to that evening!
Ingredients
- 6 sausages
- Pinch of fennel seeds
- Teaspoon chopped chilli
- Splash white wine
- Lemon
- Mixed herbs
- 200g pasta
- Olive oil
- Black pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Crush the fennel seeds and add to a pan over a low heat with a splash of oil and the chilli. Fry for about 5 minutes.
Step 2
Add the meat from the sausages, use a wooden spoon to separate out and fry until golden brown. Stick the pasta on to cook according to the packet instructions.
Step 3
Squeeze the lemon into the sausage mixture and add a splash of white wine. Turn up the heat until the liquid is bubbling, then add the mixed herbs and leave at a lower heat to simmer.
Step 4
When the pasta is done, mix with the sausages and serve.
