Preparation
Step 1
Peel the potatoes and cook with water for about 20 min. They must be soft. (Tip: cut the larger potatoes into 2, so they cook faster). Once cooked, pass them in a blender with 20 cl of cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. lend until smooth. Set aside.
Step 2
Sauté the spinach in a pan, so that they contain no more water. Once dry, add a knob of butter, salt and pepper and set aside.
Step 3
Thaw the burgers. Slice finely the onions, and fry in a pan over medium heat with a knob of butter until translucent. Then add 4 tablespoons of sugar (optional: a teaspoon of vinegar). Mix well and sauté over low heat for 10 to 15 min. Then add the burgers, mashed into mince and cook 5 mins. Set aside.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. In a baking dish, put a first layer of mashed potatoes, then a first layer of spinach, add the chopped onion / meat. Cover with a final layer of spinach, sprinkle with grated cheese, cover with a final layer of mashed potatoes, place 6 bacon rashers on top and sprinkle with grated cheese.
