- small red onion
- 2 medium/large tomatoes
- quarter of a cucumber
- half a red pepper (keep Esther happy by letting her munch on the other half!)
- medium avocado (peeled)
- juice of half a lemon (1-2 tbsp)
- 2tbsp flat leaf parsley
- garlic oil (alternatively use olive oil)
- seasoning

A calorific cake which looks and tastes great! Really easy to make, really difficult to eat without making a mess!
- 500g box cornflakes
- 2x300g bars milk chocolate cake covering
- 150g unsalted butter
- 350g icing sugar
- few drops vanilla extract
- 2tbsp milk
- 1 bag marshmallows

- 100g soft brown sugar

- 1 egg
- 1tsp vanilla extract
- 225g plain flour
- 140g milk chocolate
- 85g white chocolate
- 85g plain chocolate
- 150g butter
- 350g icing sugar
- 1tsp vanilla extract
- 2tbsp milk
- 50g cocoa powder
- various types of chocolate to melt and drizzle as decoration
Banana Split Cake (competition)

This incredible cake is absolutely delicious!!!
- BANANA CAKE:
- 100g butter
- 175g caster sugar
- pinch of salt
- 2 medium eggs
- 1 lemon zest
- 400g overipe bananas, mashed
- 1tbsp lemon juice
- 300g flour
- 2.5tsp baking powder
- OPTIONAL: 4tbsp milk
- strawberry jam
- ICING:
- roll-out icing (yellow)
- CHOCOLATE GANACHE:
- 300ml double cream
- 200g milk chocolate, finely chopped
- 100g dark chocolate, finely chopped
- TOPPING:
- 3 x butter cream ingrediants (vanilla, strawberry and chocolate)
- wafer rolls
- sprinkles
- a few digestives, crumbled
- chocolate sauce

- 50g unsalted butter, softened (plus some for greasing)

Tasty Trifle

You can attempt to make the custard yourself, but (especially if your name is Beatrix) I would recommend saving you...
- 135g jelly tablet (raspberry flavour)
- 8 trifle sponges
- 2tbsp jam (strawberry/raspberry)
- 1 punnet blackberries (~200g) [Alternatively; go blackberry picking! :D]
- 1 tin of custard
- 300ml whipping cream
- 4-5tbsp granulated sugar
- (sprinkles)
Hot Chocolate

- 3-4 heaped teaspoons cadburys hot chocolate powder
- mugful of whole milk (fill to about 1cm below the rim)
- squirty cream
- sprinkles or mini marshmallows

- LASAGNE:
- 4tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 carrots
- 900g lean minced beef
- 2x400g tomatoes
- 4tbsp tomato puree
- 600ml beef stock
- seasoning
- 24 sheets lasagne
- 100g cheese
- CHEESE SAUCE:
- 150g butter
- 150g plain flour
- 1600ml milk
- 100g cheddar cheese
