Cinnamon buns

Ingredients
- For the dough:
- 400 grams of plain flour
- 4 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 packet of instant yeast
- 30 grams of butter or margarine
- 1 egg
- 180 ml of milk
- 60 ml f water
- For the filling
- sugar for sprinkling
- 60-80 grams of butter
- ground cinnamon
- pinch of salt

Preparation
Step 1
Heat the milk in a saucepan until it bubbles, then add the butter or margarine. Let the mixture cool for a few minutes until it is lukewarm.
Step 2
To a large bowl add 200 grams of flour, yeast, sugar, salt. Add the warm water, the egg and the cooled, milky mixture to the bowl.
Step 3
Add the rest of the flour to the dough and mix well until the dough is smooth.
Step 4
Let the dough rest in a warm place for about an hour until it doubles in size.
Step 5
When the dough has finished rising, roll out the dough to form a big rectangle. Then spread the dough with some softened butter, sprinkling sugar and cinnamon on top of it
Step 6
Roll up the dough and cut up the dough into equally sized buns.
Step 7
Bake the cinnamon buns in a oven at 190C for about 20-25 minutes.
Step 8
Once the cinnamon buns have cooled, you can ice them but this step is optional!
