Ingredients

  • 1 medium egg
  • 50g s.r flour
  • 50g sugar
  • 50g margarine
  • 8 bun cases
  • butter icing-
  • 40g softened butter
  • 75g icing sugar
  • 4 teaspoons of strawberry jam

Preparation

Step 1

preheat oven to 190c/gas mark5

Step 2

mix margarine, sugar and egg into a bowl stir together until smooth

Step 3

place mixture into the baking buns

Step 4

Bake for 16-18 mins.

Step 5

allow to cool

Step 6

make the icing
mix butter in a bowl until creamy add icing sugar and a little milk

Step 7

cut a circle on top of the buns with a sharp knife

Step 8

add icing into the holes, cut the circle you cut out in half and place like wings on top of the icing. add a little jam down the middle of the buns
