Brioche Bread and Butter Pudding


An ideal way to use up any left over Brioche.

  • 0.5 pint of milk
  • Plain chocolate

Step 1

Slice the Brioche and butter the slices.

Step 2

In an ovenproof dish place the Brioche.

Step 3

Mix the egg and milk together.

Step 4

Place lumps of plain chocolate in between the slices of Brioche.

Step 5

Pour the milk/egg mixture evenly over the Brioche and sprinkle with the brown sugar.

Step 6

Leave to stand for a couple of minutes to allow the Brioche to absorb the milk/egg mixture.

Step 7

Bake in a moderate oven until cooked through and the chocolate has melted.

Step 8

Serve with cream or ice-cream and enjoy this very comforting pudding.
