Mix the butter and sugar together in a large mixing bowl.

Add 2 eggs, one at a time while whisking.

Sift the flour into the bowl and stir well.

Put the batter in to cupcake cases then place in the oven at 180°C and bake for 15 minutes.

When cooked and lightly brown, take out of the oven and cool on a wire rack.

Once cooled, decorate as desired.
