Ingredients

  • 500g/4oz lean lamb mince
  • 1tsp each of ground coriander, garlic, salt, paprika, cumin and turmeric
  • 2 onions, very finely chopped
  • 4 green chillies, very finely chopped (or to taste)
  • 4 tbsp freshly chopped mint
  • 4tsp lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

Gently saute the onion, green chillies, coriander, paprika, cumin, turmeric and garlic in a little low-cal cooking oil for a few minutes.

Step 2

Place the mince, lemon juice, chopped mint and warm spicy onion mixture into a food processor and whiz together.

Step 3

Take the mixture out, divide into small patties and grill for 4-5mins each side till mince is cooked through. (or dry fry)

Step 4

Serve with a little salad
