Ingredients
- 1/2 bag of frozen cooked prawns
- 8 mushrooms
- 1/4 red and yellow peppers sliced thinly
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 tbl spoon pataks curry paste madras
- 1/2 cup of yellow or orange lentils
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbl spoon olive oil
- teaspoon tumeric
- 1/2 pint of water

Preparation
Step 1
chop the onion in half then slice
chop the peppers thinly
slice the garlic thinly
chop the mushrooms into quarters
Step 2
fry the vegetables on oil for 3 mins
add the tumeric and cook together till all the spices are absorbed
salt and ground black pepper
Step 3
add the cooked prawns and curry paste
add water and bring to the boil
Step 4
add the lentils and keep stirring until the lentils are soft and the mixture is of a medium consistency
you may need to add a little more water to keep the consistency
