  • 1/2 bag of frozen cooked prawns
  • 8 mushrooms
  • 1/4 red and yellow peppers sliced thinly
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tbl spoon pataks curry paste madras
  • 1/2 cup of yellow or orange lentils
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbl spoon olive oil
  • teaspoon tumeric
  • 1/2 pint of water

Step 1

chop the onion in half then slice
chop the peppers thinly
slice the garlic thinly
chop the mushrooms into quarters

Step 2

fry the vegetables on oil for 3 mins
add the tumeric and cook together till all the spices are absorbed
salt and ground black pepper

Step 3

add the cooked prawns and curry paste
add water and bring to the boil

Step 4

add the lentils and keep stirring until the lentils are soft and the mixture is of a medium consistency


you may need to add a little more water to keep the consistency
