Ingredients
- 225g (8 oz) Plain Chocolate
- 75g (3 oz0 Butter
- 50g (2 oz) Icing Sugar
- 2 tbsp Double Cream
- Zest of ½ an Orange
- 1 tbsp Orange Liqueur
- 75g (3 oz) Biscuits (crushed)
- Cocoa or Chocolate Drinking Powder to Roll

Preparation
Step 1
Place the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of hot water and heat until melted.
Add butter and leave until melted.
Step 2
Stir in sugar, cream, zest, liqueur and biscuit crumbs into the melted chocolate.
Leave until firm.
Step 3
Roll small spoonfuls into balls and refrigerate to set.
Roll in cocoa powder before serving.
The orange liqueur can be substituted for orange juice or another liqueur such as coffee.
Truffles can also be rolled in chopped nuts, chocolate flakes or alternatively dipped in chocolate.
