Chilli Salmon Steak with Shiitake mushrooms

This is a tasty and easy way ofcooking salmon steak. The salmon is marinated in soy sauce and quick fry with Shiitake mushroom garlic and chilli
Ingredients
- 2 pieces Salmon fish steak
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red chilli flakes
- 1 teaspoon chopped spring onions
- 3-4 shiitake mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 clove garlic (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon chopped ginger
- 2 tablespoon oil
- Salt and pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Marinade the salmon steaks in garlic, ginger, and 1 tablespoon soy sauce for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Remove the salmon from the marinade. Dry with kitchen towel.
Heat the olive oil in a large heavy base frying pan. Fry salmon steaks 5 minutes on each side. Turn at 1 minute interval.
Step 3
Add in the crushed chilli flakes, mushrooms, soy sauce, sugar and the marinate.
Step 4
Sizzle the sauce into a thick syrupy glaze. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot with grilled cherry tomatoes, mashed potatoes and fresh broccoli.
You can also serve it with rice. Fresh tuna steak can also be used.
