  • 30g flour
  • 1/2 litre milk
  • salt & pepper

Step 1

Melt the butter over low heat.
Dilute the flour in the butter with a whisk, still on the heat, for a few seconds until well mixed a slightly frothy.

Step 2

Add the milk in one go. Salt and pepper and mix until the sauces thickens.
Cook on very low heat for ten minutes.

In your video for this recipe with Chef Daniel, he recommended cooking the flour and butter for 5 minutes to make sure the flour does not taste raw. And also to pour in the milk very slowly (not all at once).
