- 100g sugar
- 150g cornflakes
- 25g sugar
- 50g butter

Step 1
Heat the oven to 200 or Gas Mark 6.
Peel, core and slice the apples. Stew with 100g sugar and a little water until soft. Pour into an ovenproof 2l dish.
Step 2
Crush the cornflakes in a large bowl, using your hands. Add the sugar and spoon it all over the apples.
Step 3
Dot the butter over the top.
Bake for 30 mins and serve with custard or vanilla ice cream.
