Large-Scale Party Chilli con Carne

- 3 x bags frozen lean Asda mince
- 4 x onions
- 6 x cloves of garlic
- 3 x tbsp mild chilli powder
- 6 x cans chopped tomatoes/passata
- 3 x Oxo cubes
- 3 x tins kidney beans
- 3 x tsp cumin
- 9 x tbsp tomato puree
- 1 x pack mushrooms
- 3 x tbsp mixed herbs
- Salt & black pepper

Fry onions and garlic in oil until softened. Add mushrooms and cook for a couple of minutes.
Add cumin & chilli powder. Cook for a couple of minutes, stirring to combine. Add mince and Oxo cubes; brown on a high heat.
Add mixed herbs, tomatoes/passata, tomato puree, kidney beans, salt and black pepper. Bring to the boil and simmer for an hour.
Serve with rice, garlic bread, wraps, salad, grated cheese, sour cream and jalapenoes.
