  • 15g plain flour
  • 150ml milk
  • Cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • Butter
  • 1 tbsp double cream

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 220°C/425F/gas mark 7

Step 2

Fry the bacon.

Step 3

Melt the butter and add the flour.

Step 4

Add the milk and cream then add the bacon.

Step 5

Add the egg yolks one by one.

Step 6

In a separate mixing bowl whisk the egg whites until they form a stiff peaks.

Step 7

Fold the egg whites into the bacon and cheese mixture and spoon into oven proof ramekins. Bake until risen and golden brown.
