- 100g margarine
- 100g brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 100 g self-raising flour
- 75g oats/oatmeal
- 25g sunflower seeds

Preparation
Step 1
Cream together the margarine and the sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Step 2
Beat in the egg, then fold in the flour.. The mixture should be soft but firm. If it is too stiff, add 1 tbsp milk
Step 3
Fold in the oats/oatmeal and sunflower seeds
Step 4
Grease two baking trays and drop on teaspoonfuls of the mixture, leaving space between biscuits to allow them to spread.
Step 5
Bake for 7-10 minutes at 180 degrees celcius(250 degrees Fahrenheit/ Gas 4) then cool on a wire rack.
Sunflower seeds are optional, you can also add dessicated coconut or rasins instead/aswell
