Beef and Chilli Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 x 8oz sirloin steaks
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon flat leaf parsley (chopped)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 red chillies (finely chopped)
  • 1 garlic clove (crushed with a little sea salt)
  • 1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Heat griddle pan until very hot.

Step 2

Season steaks with salt, pepper and rosemary.

Step 3

Brush with 2 tablespoons olive oil.

Step 4

Fry for 2-3 minutes each side (medium).

Step 5

Remove pan and let rest for 10 minutes.

Step 6

Mix red chillies, parsley, garlic, vinegar and remaining tablespoon of olive oil in a bowl.

Step 7

Slice steaks and pour sauce over to serve.
