Step 1
Separate the eggs and keep the whites. Whisk until soft peaks are formed slowly adding the sugar as you go.
Step 2
Bake for an hour until the meringues are golden-brown and crisp. Open the oven door slightly and leave the meringues to cool in the oven for at least an hour.
