Chocolate American Whoopies with cream 1 Picture


  • 125g unsalted butter
  • 150g dark cooking chocolate
  • 3 eggs
  • 225g of sugar
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 250g flour
  • 30g cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 250g plain Philadelphia spread
  • 100 ml of fresh single cream
  • 50g icing sugar

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (gas mark 4). Put greaseproof paper on a baking tray.

Melt the butter and chocolate together. Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla. Then add the melted chocolate.
