Potato Curry (Bateta nu Shak)
A Gujarati style potato curry

- Potatoes (Bateta)
- Turmeric Powder (Haldar)
- Paprika (Lal chutney)
- Coriander-Cumin Powder (Dhana-jeeru)

- Oil (Tel)
- Water (Pani)
- Coriander (Dhana-For Garnish)

Cut potatoes into small cubes (you can leave the skin on or cut it off) and wash the potatoes and tomatoes.
After washing potatoes, put a saucepan on the hob and place around two tablespoons of oil into the saucepan, put in the mustard seeds and let it simmer until they start popping.
After the mustard seeds start to pop, place the washed potatoes into the sauce pan, and tomatoes and mix.
After add the spices together and mix. Place around a cup full of water into the saucepan and let it come to boil.
(Optional) add coriander to the curry for garnish and serve.
