  • 8 Chicken thighs - skinless and boneless
  • 1 tablespoon Chinese five spice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of chilli sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Put chicken thighs on a piece of greaseproof paper and sprinkle both sides of the meat with salt, pepper and the five spice.

Step 2

Bash the chicken pieces gently to about 1.5cm thickness

Step 3

Heat the olive oil in a pan and then cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until it is browned and cooked through.

Step 4

Drain any excess fat from the pan. Drizzle the chilli sauce over the chicken and toss with sesame seeds.

Serve with rice, noodles or a salad
