An impressive but simple dessert.
- 2 pears peeled
- 300ml red wine
- 220g caster sugar
- 1 tsp mixed spice

Heat the red wine, sugar and mixed spice in a saucepan until simmering
Add the pears and poach for 20mins or until the pears are soft.
Remove the pairs and simmer the sauce to reduce.
Place peach in a blow and pour over the sauce.
Serve with pouring cream or greek yoghurt.
