  • 2 pieces rib eye steak
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black peppers
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasalt
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • a pinch of brown sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all the ingredients (except the steaks) in a large bowl. Mix well.
Add the steak into the marinade. Cover and leave to marinade for 3 hours.

Step 2

Place the steak under a preheated grill. Cook for 10 minutes on each side depending on the thickness. Sprinkle with more freshly ground pepper.

Step 3

Serve with mix salad or fresh boiled new potatoes.

Leave the steak to marinade overnight to make it more tender and tasty. You can also cook the steak on the BBQ instead of a grill.
