- 200g almonds
- 200g sugar
- 1 egg
- almond essence

Step 1
Grind the Almonds to a fine paste and mix with the sugar.
Step 2
Beat the egg and stir in the almond essence then combine with the mixture until a stiff paste is formed
Step 3
Knead the mixture and place into an airtight container ready for later use.
Cut marzipan with icing sugar for a delicious almondy treat.
