  • 500ml milk (1 pint)
  • 30g plain flour
  • 30g butter
  • (flavourings)
  • nutmeg
  • 150g grated cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Put the butter, milk and flour into a pan on a high heat. (add flavourings)

Step 2

Stir constantly until boiling. (2-4 minutes)

Step 3

Once boiled the sauce can be used with ragu sauce and pasta sheets in a lasagne.
