Chocolate and Ginger coated All Butter Shortcake

The tenderness of a tasty buttery shortcake biscuit dipped in chocolate and sprinkled with ginger powder for extra zing.

- Dark Chocolate
- 175g Self Raising flour
- 175 I can't believe its not butter
- 100g Sugar
- 10g Ginger nuts

Step 1
Mix the flour, butter and sugar into a firm dough and spread 1cm thick on a baking tray
Step 2
Bake at 160 for 25 minutes and slice then leave to cool once finished
Step 3
Dip your shortcake biscuits in the melted chocolate and then sprinkle powdered gingernuts lightly over the surface to decorate.
Infuse the chocolate with a pinch of chilli powder for additional bite, and feel free to include hundreds and thousands on the surface for extra festive decoration.
