Ingredients
- 1 cup chick pea flour (also known as gram flour)
- water
- 1 onion chopped and diced
- 1 potato chopped and diced
- handful of peas
- 1 tbsp cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp turmeric powder
- 1tbsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp salt
- handful of coriander

Preparation
Step 1
mix all the ingredients together. add water in slowly until you get a medium consistency. Leave to stand for 20 mins.
Step 2
use 2 teaspoons to put small amounts of the mixture in a deep pan of oil. fry until golden brown or cooked right through. the smaller the mixture balls, the quicker they cook.
Step 3
drain the oil and serve with raita yoghurt dip.
suitable for those on a gluten-free diet!
