"I like to make a real Quiche Lorraine from time to time for my British friends. And I always remind them that adding cheese or onions is totally forbidden!"

Hello The Greedy Frog, so tell us...

When did you begin your blog and what inspired you to start it?

I have been blogging for just over a year now.

I have always enjoyed sharing recipes with friends and family, so blogging is just a step up from this, really!

In your wildest dreams, where is your blog going to take you as it develops?

Blogging has already taught me a lot more than I would have thought possible, and I am grateful that every new post is an opportunity to meet new people, get feedback, and also hone my skills when working on my recipes.

When I allow myself a little daydream, I can see The Greedy Frog becoming a mobile bakery maybe...

Are you active in the blogging community? Have you met any interesting people through your blog or has it brought you to new places?

I never cease to be amazed at how easy it is to get in touch with people who live completely different lives on the other side of the world, people who I would never have had a chance to interact with if it weren't for the Internet... and how wonderful it is to try each others' recipes!

I am also following writers, scientists, comedians... There are a lot of wonderful, talented people out there!

Do you have a secret weapon in the kitchen?

I always say that if my house was on fire, and my daughter and husband were safe, I would go back in for my KitchenAid. It is a bright, shiny red and I absolutely adore it.

What would be your choice of dish or menu if you had to choose your "last meal ever"?!

This is the most difficult question, without a doubt!

I would probably have a cheese soufflé to start with, then beef Wellington, a cheese course, and profiteroles for dessert.

I would also insist on coffee and a slice of marble cake.

What is your earliest memory involving food?

Helping my grandmother peel onion and garlic. I was about three when I started "helping" her; she would top and tail the garlic cloves and onions, and I would then patiently peel of the skins with my little fingers, feeling like I was making a huge contribution to the meal.

Are there any chefs that you admire in particular?

I find Angela Hartnett inspiring. She has become a household name in what is still a man's world, while not hiding her femininity.

Do you prepare French classics for your British friends?

I like to make a real Quiche Lorraine from time to time for my British friends. And I always remind them that adding cheese or onions is totally forbidden!

I also like to cook British classics for my French visitors: Yorkshire puddings went down a treat, and so did Christmas pudding.

Which Gourmandize recipe would you recommend? (if none take your fancy add your own and share it with us!)

I would recommend my granola recipe; it is stupidly easy and quick to make, and is so much nicer than anything you can buy!

Any last words or message for our readers?

I would just like to thank you for reading this, I hope you like my recipes!
