Hello Mollisia, so tell us...

When did you begin your blog and what inspired you to start it?

I start thinking about it after one sleepless night, when I baked my first bread with sun-dried tomatoes. And I had been inspired by one polish blogger.
However, this thought grew rife inside me rather late - a couple of years later.

I got married, moved to a cosy flat with an orchard and close to a forest. Then I made a decision: I desire to show people around the world about mine - in my kitchen, in my little homelike flat.

In your wildest dreams, where will your blog take you as it develops?

I have to admit that I have never think about it.
Probably, I dream that my modest blog becomes quite well-known in the food-blog world and people use my recipes, esteem me as a trustworthy blogger writing about food - something I am knowledgeable about. Despite I come from quite minor country - Poland.

What is your favourite dish of all time?

Frankly speaking, I cannot expressly say that about any dish.
I love polish dumplings with whortleberries, fruit cocktails and tomato soup, but I also cannot imagine life without spinach, curd cheese, apples, cinnamon and chilli. Therefore that is too big dilemma to choose one favourite dish.

You clearly take your time over photos, in your opinion what makes a dish beautiful?

Definitely a dish itself. But for people looking for encouraging dish I have to make my photos mouth-watering, even in artistic way. To do this I have to care about composition, background, deep focus, colours, climate in the photo...
I have to think as a potential guest on my blog - what is he or she looking for and give it them.

Do you have a secret weapon in the kitchen?

I am not sure if I can call it "secret weapon"
I always cook with my heart. I cannot cook without feelings that we can often observe effects of cooking like this in school canteens.
And I always add something outside the main recipe, which makes my dishes not only delicious but also different.

What is your earliest memory involving food?

Let me think...
It seems to me that it might have been when I was 3 or 4. I ate slice of true sourdough bread with homemade butter and salt. Really indelible memory.

Are there any chefs that you admire in particular?

Well, I respect many of chefs both from Europe and outside. There are too many of them to write.
However I will never forget about programmes hosted by Nigella Lawson. I couldn't abstract myself from her programme.

If you could be a contestant or guest on any cooking show what show would you choose?

Well, maybe I shouldn't reveal it, but "you only live once". Probably I would choose "The Martha Stewart Show". Why not?

Which Gourmandize recipe would you recommend?

This is hard choice... I saw the one that I fell in love with! Pasta with pureed aubergines and peppers. You have to try it. It's lovely!

Any last words or message for our readers?

Cook and bake what your heart prompts you - it always makes everything in the kitchen go your way!
